Suitable for all levels including beginners and especially for those who have attended the Make your own Mug and Plate Workshop. A 2.5 hour workshop during which I’ll guide you through making a wide bowl and a dinner plate. Starting with a lump of clay, you’ll roll out your clay and use it to hand build a wide bowl and a dinner plate using a combination of moulds. At the end of the workshop you’ll leave them with me to dry, fire and glaze. Your pieces will be ready for you to pick up, or have them posted to you, within 3 weeks.

Whether you’re trying this out because you want to get more involved in pottery or whether you just want to try something different, you’ll pick up some useful skills. You’ll learn how to cut and shape clay with two different types of mould. You may also have the chance to use a professional slab roller.
